Signing order
Whether people sign one after another, or all at once.
On Define reusable signer roles, choose Sequential or Parallel.
The roles screen, where you describe who signs — by their part in the agreement rather than by name. Screenshots use a demonstration workspace. Sequential: invitations follow signer role order. Later signers wait for earlier signers to finish.
Parallel: all active email signers are invited together and can complete their own fields in any order.
Copy-only recipients do not hold up signing. They receive their completed copy after all required signers finish.
You should see
The agreement shows who is waiting, who has been invited and who has signed.
If it did not work
A later sequential signer may not have an invitation yet. Check the previous signer’s status first.
