A clear path from PDF to completed

Your first agreement can be out the door in minutes.

There is no feature maze to learn. GetSimpleSign brings the choices that matter—privacy, recipients, routing, expiry, reminders, and signing fields—into one guided flow.

1

Create an account

Name your organization, optionally add its logo, accept the product terms and privacy policy, and open your workspace.

2

Upload an agreement

Bring a PDF, a Word or Excel file, a slide deck, or a photo of a printed form. Anything that is not already a PDF is converted for you, and your original file is kept beside it. The file stays private to you unless you share it.

3

Name the roles that sign

On a template, describe who signs—Client, Manager, Volunteer—and choose sequential or parallel routing. Real names and email addresses are entered later, when you send.

4

Place required fields

Add signature, full name, date, text, or checkbox fields and assign each one to a role. Fields you complete yourself reach the signer as text they cannot change.

5

Review delivery

Confirm the 30-day default expiry or choose another period, review reminders, and send.

6

Track and retrieve

Follow delivery and signatures. When complete, retrieve the signed PDF and completion record.

Preparing the document

The document rarely arrives ready to send.

Most agreements start as a file that needs tidying first—a scan with a cover page, a Word draft, pages in the wrong order. That work happens here, before anything reaches a signer.

Bring the file you already have

PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, rich text, plain text, and common image formats are accepted, up to 25 MB. Non-PDF uploads are converted automatically, and the file you chose is retained alongside the converted PDF.

Fix the pages first

While a template is still a draft, reorder, rotate, insert, and delete pages. Fields follow their page to its new position, and you are told how many fields a deleted page takes with it before the change is saved.

Fill in what you already know

Mark a field as yours and complete it at send time—an amount, a start date, a file number. It reaches every signer as settled text they can read but cannot edit.

Check the placement before you send

Preview the prepared document with every field shown in position and labelled with the person who will fill it, so nothing is discovered by the signer first.

Reuse the setup, not the effort

Publish the template as Ready and use it whenever someone needs to sign. Its pages stay fixed from then on, so agreements you have already sent keep matching what was published.

Guidance where the question comes up

Every screen carries help for the decisions on it, and short explanations sit beside the choices that people ask about most. Nothing here assumes you have used signing software before.

The signer experience

No account required to review and sign.

Recipients open a dedicated invitation, confirm their intent to use electronic records and signatures, review the agreement, and type or draw their signature. GetSimpleSign does not create a signer account automatically.
