It forms part of the GetSimpleSign Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service, including Signers. We may update it to address new forms of abuse; material changes are notified under Section 21 of the Terms.
1You must not use the Service to
Deceive people about who is asking for a signature
A signature request is a near-perfect phishing vector, and we treat this as the most serious misuse of this Service. Do not impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent what a document is, or use the Service to harvest credentials, payment details, or identity documents under false pretences.
Send messages people have not agreed to receive
Or otherwise breach Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation or equivalent law where a recipient is located.
Distribute malware
Or upload a file designed to exploit or damage any system.
Infringe intellectual property
Or upload content you have no right to send.
Harass, threaten, defame, or endanger anyone
Or upload content that sexualizes a minor or depicts non-consensual sexual activity.
Upload material you were told to keep out
Classified information, complete payment-card data, or account passwords, as described in Section 9 of the Terms.
Attack or probe the Service
Including scanning, penetration testing, or automated scraping, without our written permission. If you have found a security problem, tell us at [email protected]; we will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and does not exploit it.
Circumvent limits
Share credentials across people, resell or sublicense access, or build a competing service from it.
2What happens if you do
We may suspend access immediately and without notice where we reasonably believe it is necessary to stop harm, and we may close the workspace for serious or repeated breach. Where we can safely give notice and an opportunity to fix it first, we will. We may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
3Reporting misuse
If you received something through GetSimpleSign that you believe breaches this Policy — including a signature request you think is fraudulent — tell us at [email protected]. You do not need to be a customer.
