This guide provides general operational information for Canadian organizations. It is not legal advice, and it does not determine whether a specific document or process is legally appropriate.
Make the sender recognizable
Set the organization name and optional logo in Settings. Give the agreement a recognizable name without putting sensitive case details into its email subject or message.
Review the recipient and routing
Enter the correct email for every email signer and copy recipient. Sequential signers receive invitations when their turn starts; copy recipients receive the completed copy after the process finishes.
Keep sign-in and signing links distinct
A signer invitation opens an agreement without a workspace account. An account magic link signs into a workspace. Neither link should be forwarded. Share an additional access code through a separate channel if required.
Diagnose delivery in the agreement
Check delivery history and use Resend active invitation or Remind now for a current request. A resend replaces the affected invitation links; an expired or closed agreement needs a new request.
A practical next step
Test the workflow with a non-sensitive document and your own test recipient. Check the current Help centre for step-by-step instructions and screenshots before using it for a real agreement.
